Welcome to the Shreveport Senior Squadron 013 of the Louisiana Wing of the Civil Air Patrol
The Louisiana Wing of the Civil Air Patrol is composed of nearly 600 civilian volunteers who donate their time and skills to perform missions for America. Louisiana wing is the 25th largest wing of the Civil Air Patrol.
The Civil Air Patrol is a Congressionally chartered civilian volunteer organization that acts as the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary.
Cap performs about 90 percent of all inland Search & Rescue.
The Shreveport Senior Squadron consists of members aged 18 and over with an interest in Aviation and giving back to the community and is made up of pilots and non-pilots with very diverse backgrounds. We train to perform Search and Rescue, Aerial Photography, Disaster communications and much more working with Cadet squadrons to ensure our customers receive the best results in a safe and timely manner.
Meetings are held every Tuesday night beginning at 6:00 PM in the CAP building on the North side of the Downtown Airport near the intersection of taxiways Gulf and Romeo.
